A hymn of wildflowers, hidden beings, and Southern memory

Summer Breeze drifts between faint memories and childlike magic. Sunset shades of pink and gold wash across the canvas, where flowers and tall grass bend as if caught in a whispering breeze, a bumblebee floating into the scene.

Woven into the background is a nostalgic essence, echoing wallpaper from a grandparent’s home or a small country church. This painting is a spell of warmth and wonder, evoking a carefree perspective and the timeless beauty of nature in motion.

Things I love about this painting: The pampas grass reminds me of our front yard in my childhood home. My mom had beautiful, tall, outstanding pampas grass by the end of the driveway, and one day a boy in the neighborhood mowed it down with his tractor. My mom was heartbroken for quite a while, and we ended up moving away a few years later. There are also 2 other types of insects hidden on/around the painting that you have to hunt for.
